In his maiden parliamentary speech delivered on 18th November 2025, Hon. Bilal Mussa Tambuli pledged to bring unprecedented development to Mangochi South Constituency—building on years of impactful humanitarian and community-driven work.
He outlined major achievements accomplished through partnerships with international organizations, including:
- Support for 34,000 Cyclone Freddy survivors
- Provision of laptops, uniforms, and scholastic materials to students
- Donation of sporting equipment to the Malawi Police
- Distribution of 600+ wheelchairs to persons with disabilities
- Construction of houses for the elderly in multiple districts
- Drilling of 1,500+ boreholes and water wells
- Construction of places of worship nationwide
He commended President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika for introducing free school fees in public primary and secondary schools. To support this policy, he pledged to provide free uniforms to students in over 34 schools in his constituency.
He further revealed that the K5 billion Constituency Development Fund (CDF) will be directed toward supporting disadvantaged students in public secondary schools and universities.
